5280Flowers is a family-owned, online-only florist serving the Denver metro area with same-day delivery. We buy direct from growers around the world, which is how we can offer classy arrangements at wholesale-to-the-public prices. Owners Fred and Amy Kops have each spent more than 20 years in the floral industry.

Classy yet affordable, wholesale to the public

Those two ideas have driven the business since day one. Most retail florists buy through middlemen, and every hand the flowers pass through adds cost and takes a day off their vase life. We buy direct from the farms instead. You get fresher flowers, and you pay less for them.

We're an online-only shop, so there's no retail showroom to pay for. That saving goes into the arrangements themselves — more stems, better grades, and flowers that last.

Who we are

Amy worked as a party planner, event coordinator and floral designer in Southern California. Fred worked as a floral wholesaler supplying high-end retail stores in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, importing flowers from growers all over the world. Put a designer's eye and a wholesaler's sourcing together and you get the formula behind every arrangement we send out.

5280Flowers is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the Denver Chamber of Commerce. We hold ourselves to high standards of business ethics and customer service, and our aim is long-term relationships with both corporate clients and individual customers.

We source direct from growers around the world, and from Colorado farms whenever the season allows:

Do you have a walk-in shop?

No. We're an online-only florist, which is a large part of why our prices are lower than a traditional retail flower shop's.

How late can I order for same-day delivery?

Orders placed by 10 AM on weekdays go out the same day across metro Denver. After 10 AM, call us at (303) 893-1730 and we'll check whether we can still fit your delivery in today. We often can.

Are the flowers really direct from growers?

Yes. Fred spent years as a floral wholesaler, and we still buy direct from farms in Ecuador, the Netherlands, Thailand, New Zealand and closer to home in Colorado.

Do you deliver to hospitals and funeral homes?

Yes, throughout the Denver metro area. Add the room number or service time in the order notes and we'll work to the schedule.

Can you handle corporate accounts?
